I have tried so many different types of toothbrushes you would have thought in ones toothbrushing career one might come across a design that nails it on the head. Well, in my experience, not until now. I read a review somewhere about the Colgate 360, and was at the drug store getting a 4 pack that evening. It is the only toothbrush that i have ever used that stands out in a good way from all the others i have tried. The brush head has a tongue scraper on the the back with, circular shaped bristles and soft rubber massagers in the bristle head. It’s hard to explain, but it feels like it wraps completely around your teeth and massages your gums, in other words, it actually feels like its working. Don’t take my word for it though, go try one yourself.

As I get older I am starting to realize the importance of creature comforts. I’ve also mentioned before my new found fascination with shaving. Learning to shave correctly has really opened my eyes as to what I have been missing all these years. Convenience seems to have over taken the need to not tear your face up in these times. Which is weird to me because it is no less convenient to shave using a brush like this, than it is rub some foaming lather on your face out of a can, especially at home.

You can still use your favorite modern razor or go back to the old school is you so desire. You should never take a razor stroke on you face without there being fresh lather. The lather holds water and makes sure the facial hair is soft and compliant. hair is like spaghetti, and gets limp as its exposed to moisture. With a lathered up brush you can completely re-cover your face as soon as you make one pass over your face with the razor. Then pass 2 is pretty much the clean up run, getting everything you missed the first time.

I will admit that, at the moment I have a cheapo shave brush from the drug store, and it does an OK job. There is no doubt I will be getting a good badger hair brush soon though. Badger hair has split ends and makes a better lather, and it is high quality stuff that will last you a lifetime. So why not invest in having a comfortable shave for the rest of your life?

Over the last year or two I have been on a mission to achieve the perfect most comfortable shave. I guess it originates from high school when i first started shaving, and always came to school with a rash on my neck. It seems that in conversations with friends too, most fathers were less than forthcoming in their shaving knowledge (probably cause they didn’t they know any better themselves). TSS (Total Shaving Solution) Is a product that in most ways spits in the face of what i have learned makes a great shave, being that you don’t need a brush, thick lather, or lots of it. Just a 3 drops of this stuff and your golden, just grab your favorite razor and go for it. If you trust people who shave their heads then have a look at
